Location. Comfortable bed.

Zero privacy. Communal hang out area was very awkward to climb up to.

one thing needs to change there huge price fluctuations one day it's 45 thats monday and then it's like the weekend starts on Tuesday cause it raises to 68 an then an even better weekend starts on Friday cause it goes up again at 100

How did I like the breakfast? There was no breakfast! There was not even coffee in the morning. Not even instant coffee left out to make. And nothing very close by where you can get coffee early. Location is all this place has. But it does have location. No ocean view, but possibally the next best for SB.

No coffee in the morning. No place to sit and drink it anyway. I almost got a bag stolen (apparently organized and coordinated by other guests (agents?) - I caught them, at 5am in the morning - all awake who were involved; my bag was out in the middle of the hallway, two of them walking by it in different directions, and another walking in from outside 1 minute later). There is zero privacy, in fact people outside (streetview) can see everything, even in your sleeping area. There is no common room to hang out in. Not even a place to sit down and eat. I put down a deposit and am now having a difficult time getting it back. For no reason involving the stay, nor my disatisfaction with the place. I had said nothing. Social Stays set up a repeat payment on the deposit at the time the deposit went in. I have taken off the repeat staus, they keep putting it back on. This repeat deposit status is being disputed. The return of my deposit (minus $7 for doing laundry) is now also in dispute. AND THE WORST thing about this place: there are little wooden windows about 12"x12", which open up into each pod!! I opened one and it led to a hidden stairway which went down (bed #4 if anyone wants to check it out). VERY CREEPY.

It is right in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. Friendly staff and helpful as well
