The size of the cottage was bigger than expected. We enjoyed the space. Facilities such as DVDs, boardgames, and books available in cottage for a ‘rainy day’. We didnt use oven but microwave and kettle all seemed in new good condition. The location of the cottage was perfect. A short walk away from bowness-on-windomere docks. 150m away from nearby co-op for food supplies. Car Parking for x1 car easy to find (following instructions). Would stay again.

This may not suit everyone as some people get alot colder than others but we found the main living area to be far too hot. The heating was on automatic control, meaning the main living area was very hot. We had to open the doors and windows (Mid october). The main leather sofa was a little annoying as the leg rest on one side of the sofa kept springing up (without us pressing the button), so just had to be really careful with a 9month baby old crawling around.

Thé location of the property was perfect for exploring Bowness on foot.

There was limited kitchen space which was ok for opening takeaway meals but not if you wanted to cook a meal from scratch.

Location and had parking.

All of it was not as nice as I expected.

Such a beautiful cottage. We felt so welcome and comfortable immediately. Close enough to shops and services and quiet but cosy

Location was good but that is about all.

Damp, Damp, Damp! Shouldn’t be allowed to let a property in such a bad condition.
