"Cosy Family weekend away, two kids and two dogs."

10.0

Perfectly situated, comfy and clean and had everything we needed. My daughter has asked if we can come back soon.

Everything was just right.

"Lovely little cottage, perfect location"

9.0

Instructions sent before hand were clear and easy to follow. Cottage was warm and comfortable. Everything you need was to hand. Perfect location. Small enclosed yard at the back of the cottage, big enough to let your pooches out for a wee first thing in the morning 🌄 would definitely stay here again 😀

"Quaint little cottage in a great location"

8.0

Great location within a few minutes walk into Bowness centre. Warm and cosy cottage with everything you need for a self catering holiday, plenty of linen/towels provided

Nothing we didn't like, just the car parking space was a bit of an awkward angle for our car to drive into but was OK once we got parked up, however couldn't open the passenger door 😊 Would have preferred a king-size bed rather than a double, the bedroom was a good size to accommodate this but overall a nice little cottage in a fab location 👍 ☺️

Totally enjoyed the stay.

One little complaint...the bulb in the bathroom, for the twin room wasn't working correctly and didn't give out much light, therefore it was difficult to see when showering.

"Overall, great new yrs stay, fine for a short break"

6.0

Very well located, parking space just across road and big enough for estate. Cosy lounge and good sized bedrooms, both with ensuites

Sofa had a reclining end seat which has a mind of its own, and did actually hurt leg when it flipped out as I tried to walk past, Main double bedroom had a leaky window which let a lot of rain in, had to use old towels to stop this running onto floor, thankfully we had no clothes etc stored on the sil. Also to note, owner did respond quickly on this with advice re use of old linen in storage. Second bedroom was icy cold, despite the radiator and electric radiator in there. Curtain rail in lounge fell off when trying open curtains in the morning, easily put back up, but again could hurt someone so should be sorted out.
