We did not stay. No heating, no internet, no TV and no decent reply back once the owner was made aware of it ,we then just kept receiving standard texts.

It was close to beach, free parking, spacious and had all what we needed there for a relaxing weekend

Better mattress.

The location was nice in that it was an easy walk to the lovely beach. Parking was easy. Crockery and cutlery were okay.

The place including the furniture and amenities inside were pretty run-down and whilst the apartment was functional, our stay was not as comfortable as we would have liked. In practical terms when we reached there, there was no toilet paper, no kitchen sponge/scourer and none of the bins had any liners. We therefore needed to go late in the evening after a long drive, to find a shop to purchase some. The mattresses and pillows were of very poor quality resulting in very poor quality of sleep. Nowhere previously have we been required to bring towels and bedlinen with us. This was a real hassle. Admittedly, it is in the fine print, but it was something that we only found at the last minute by which time it was too late to cancel. We didn't have appropriate sized bedlinen to match the size of the their beds. Having to carry extra luggage/extra towels - and then to bring wet towels back home at the end of the stay was a real nuisance. Likewise, having to put £1 coins repeatedly in the meter was a nuisance, particularly since the meter would swallow a £1 coin but the electricity wouldn’t come on. When we asked the owner, she was not helpful or willing to take responsibility for this. Instead, she just told us to put an extra £1 coin in. We had to do this three times. She asked us to speak to the landlord to sort this out (with whom she had a lease agreement). That was her responsibility, not ours. Having only one electrical plug point for three appliances (microwave, kettle, and toaster) was a nuisance. Only one of them could be plugged in at any time. Being right next to a busy road, made it prone to traffic noise, especially with the windows open since the weather was warm. Unlike the reviews, we found the place uncomfortable, not particularly spacious - and we couldn't wait to leave. We wouldn’t stay there again.

It was clean, close to all the amenities and ideal for some old friends to catch up

The way everything was falling apart, the house wasn't very clean on arrival had to clean it before my children stayed in it, the bedding had stains, the curtain fell on my child, the door frames were coming off, the tables were falling apart, u xqn say I will never stay here again
