"I think I was unlucky to have chosen the apartment was not worth the value of my money"

Beautiful infrastructure, very clean and secure

Having to call the host not picking up calls on time every time we need to go out, I mean why not send minimum of 3 atleast. Checked in very late because apartment was not ready…. We had to pay to 300 rands to access the lagoon even though our apartment had free access, again host did not prepare for that in advance. Not to mention the broken cupboards and that couch belongs to the landfill

"POOR SERVICE"

The neatness, hot water in the bathroom, wifi signal was very good and we were able to stream on YouTube and Netflix.

The service was VERY POOR. First of all, we booked for two nights at Kayalako on a booking.com app but on our arrival (22/11/25,)we were directed to Block 111 Unit 1110, the host told us that Kayalako is fully booked which we did not understand how because if it was fully booked the system wasn't gonna allow us to make bookings, before we could check in we were requested to pay R1000 deposit for damages which will be refunded within 5-7 days after check out.. The apartment had 3 bedrooms and the Host directed us to the bedroom that did not have a locker whilst other two rooms were locked. We requested for the room that had a locker but she couldn't help us and insisted that we should use the room we do not like. In the room that she insisted that we should take, we found the headboard broken, we took pictures and asked her if she is aware about the damage, her response was she doesn't know about the damage and will make quotations. After some few minutes she texted to say that should pay R3500 for the damage ( meaning we need to add R2500 on top of the R1000 deposit we made before chckin). She came to our apartment to chck the damage and still deny that she doesn't know about the damage. We request to see the owner of the apartment but she denied to give contacts. On our second night we couldn't sleep in the apartment but in the car since we were afraid about our safety since there was a person who comes in our apartment while we went out (we would go out and lock the apartment but when we come back we find it open)... On our chck out day (24/11/2025) we asked ISABEL to come a lil bit early so that we can resolve the matter but she said that she will only arrive @10am, on her arrival she requested for R2500 and we denied to pay & called the police and luckily they arrived on time..
