The size of the room, no amenities, no light / window on the outside

It was a walking distance to the Medina

Took a little while for hot shower to work. It worked in the end and doesn’t really affect the rating

Why TF there is not even a sign to show it’s a hotel!? It’s virtually impossible to find it unless you ask around locals some of whom demand money when you find it. Seriously, put up a sign at the entrance!!

Had a short stay in Riad Elijah which was enjoyable, lovely Riad with great views of the mountains staff were very pleasant and helpful,if I've one complaint,it's the breakfast which didn't consist of much, thankfully there is a few eating establishments in the local area to choose from

I wish I could say I was happier with my stay here... However, I did feel safe, it was comfortable and provided a place to rest my head.

I had picked this place because all the reviews mentioned how helpful the host was but unfortunately on my visit, I arrived late and while the staff was kind they didn't speak much English so I didn't get all the info- like the host could help with excursions (apparently wayyy better prices), we could have had our room made up every day and we never got breakfast because we always had to leave before it started. The shower head was kind of broken and we figured out the 2nd night the AC wasn't plugged in but it all worked out.

Only redeeming quality was a nice staff

Our room was filthy, dark, and damp smelling. The owners provide the bare minimum… not even a rubbish bin in the bathroom or hooks to hang towels. We considered looking for alternative accomodation after the first night, but this Riad wasn’t super cheap compared to others in the area, and we couldn’t justify the additional cost. Breakfast was lacklustre. We’ve travelled all through Morocco and stayed in numerous Riads that were half the price, and have had lovely experiences. Marrakech is hectic, and not having somewhere comfortable to escape for some chill time was a real dampener on our trip. Unless they put some love into this place, I would not recommend
