Tan y coed's Rosemary Cabin

Such a cosy little cabin, had everything you would ever need. Really enjoyed our stay! We were going to a wedding and the lovely lady that owns the cabin gave us a lift there as it is on a busy road with no pathway. Facilities were great.

We loved our stay here, we found it so relaxing, a great place to sit back and relax with a cuppa after a busy day of sightseeing. The little extras like cereal, rice, noodles and tea and coffee in the cabin were fantastic to help when we first arrived before we had a chance to pop to the shop. The children absolutely loved the "treat' basket and the cakes. We would definitely love to come back again.

Ideal for our overnight stay, ihad everything youd require, deally situated. And loved the cake that greeted us as we walked in.

The cabin was perfectly located for a wedding we were attending near by and it had everything you need. Fiona was lovely and so accommodating

The main road is a little noisy, so just make sure you take earplugs

A lovely cabin for a night stand. Clean, comfortable. Easy access located on main road. We were by ourselves, nothing bothered us. A small place for instant bbq provided our dinner, plates and cuttlery in the cabin.

As its on the main road, a little bit noisy but we had no problem with that. Compost toilet would be weird for some, but our child called "magic toilet" :)

Great location and facilities. All we needed for a couple of nights away. Great communication from the host, Fiona who was very helpful and kind! There were lots of lovely little extras and things that came in handy in the kitchenette

Absolutely lovely place to stay

It's incredibly cozy, a lovely cottage immerse in mature vegetation. The host was lovely, she provided breakfast for us, we had games in the room, it was a nice little experience.

It's not a big drama: it's on a A road, so you will hear the cars. The vegetation is helping create a sound barrier, but still you can hear them. The bed is with springs so if one moves, you can hear it.

I didn't like anything at all.

The experience was completely different from what was described in the listing. We were looking for a place surrounded by nature, isolated and quiet, but the cabin is located right next to a main road with constant traffic and next to the host’s house, which completely compromised privacy and tranquility. There were several negative aspects that were not disclosed beforehand: the bathroom is a composting toilet — which was not clearly stated in the listing — and it has several issues. It’s cold, not climate-controlled, there’s no hot water at the sink, and the shower water doesn’t get warm enough. Although the composting toilet was emptied daily, it was not properly cleaned, and we spent five days with the bathroom smelling like urine. The bathroom was also full of mold, dust, and cobwebs. Additionally, the shower drain was clogged (this was only fixed the next day), the towels and sheets had a bad odor, the spring mattress was very old and uncomfortable, the minibar was dirty with dead insects inside, and the room smelled musty and was clearly not well cleaned. The host initially greeted us with chocolates, bananas, and cake, which was a nice gesture. However, after we voiced our complaints the next day, she entered the room and removed everything without any explanation. Unfortunately, the stay fell far short of expectations, and we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, privacy, and a genuine experience in nature.
