Tan y coed's Rosemary Cabin

I didn't like anything at all.

The experience was completely different from what was described in the listing. We were looking for a place surrounded by nature, isolated and quiet, but the cabin is located right next to a main road with constant traffic and next to the host’s house, which completely compromised privacy and tranquility. There were several negative aspects that were not disclosed beforehand: the bathroom is a composting toilet — which was not clearly stated in the listing — and it has several issues. It’s cold, not climate-controlled, there’s no hot water at the sink, and the shower water doesn’t get warm enough. Although the composting toilet was emptied daily, it was not properly cleaned, and we spent five days with the bathroom smelling like urine. The bathroom was also full of mold, dust, and cobwebs. Additionally, the shower drain was clogged (this was only fixed the next day), the towels and sheets had a bad odor, the spring mattress was very old and uncomfortable, the minibar was dirty with dead insects inside, and the room smelled musty and was clearly not well cleaned. The host initially greeted us with chocolates, bananas, and cake, which was a nice gesture. However, after we voiced our complaints the next day, she entered the room and removed everything without any explanation. Unfortunately, the stay fell far short of expectations, and we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, privacy, and a genuine experience in nature. We liked the coziness and we had everything we needed. It was very well equipped.

The closeness to the main road but it was easy to tune out the noise and listen to the birds tweeting in our little garden.

The sofa bed wasn’t the greatest especially for two adults to sleep on

Had everything I needed for my stay, Fiona was an amazing host, she went above and beyond for me and will definitely be staying again

Cosy affordable cabin, lovely kind hosts. Just what we needed for a lovely few days away from town life! Loved the fire pit outside / cosy cabin. Thank you for the wood .. we loved the music jamming too😊

Fiona was an amazing host, she provided us with anything we needed and treated us to some of the delicious cake that she baked. All and all, great stay as the cabin is ideally situated and has everything.
