Topaz Motel - Flagler Beach

The location was great.

The guy at the desk tried charging me more for the pet fee than I was originally told it was. The motel was dirty. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived. The beds are very uncomfortable. The room smelled like someone had been smoking in there for years. Besides the bathroom light, there was only one other that worked in the room.

The shower has a bubble in the bottom of the tub from water damage, the floor was so dirty my toddler was dirty from crawling around on the floor. The keys I was given did not work on the door: finally after being drenched for 20 minutes I was given a new key that did work. WiFi didn’t work and the tv had 6 channels

Very interesting historic building and museum. The room had a balcony with a spectacular view of the beach and the sunrise scene was amazing! The Flagler Fish Company Restaurant is also top notch.

there were no expected items in the room like a coffee maker or fridge. Also had to request a blanket because the bed didn't have a comforter or bedspread,

False advertising. Suppose to have Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Only had fridge..no shower Curtain so floor got wet...torn wallpaper Language barrier...

The location is great, it was clean

Lots of outlets didn’t work, one lamp had no outlet to plug into, no heat or ac working, no bathroom mirror and really thin bed spread.

Loved the bathroom door.

No mirror in the bathroom. No ice bucket or any conveniences. Not taken care of. Little run down. Had to have staff come program the TV. ice machine was very dirty ....
