The quirky decor, clean bedding and towels,the location was so peaceful and just a short walk to the beach through woodland path at side of caravan, Cresswell beach is stunning and a beautiful walk ,the staff on site are so friendly and helpful and excellent bus service that stops just outside site and You can visit so many places with a day rider ticket for £6 each

Toilet seat in extra bedroom a bit wobbly, struggled to light oven but still managed to cook on hob, grill and microwave , shower in main bedroom runs a bit cold so used the one in spare room which is next to boiler,lovely caravan just needs a bit of tell but didn’t ruin our stay

Dirty dishes no hot water in large shower lack of power points dirty old red sock behind sofa probably still there. loose toilet seat. 1 wine glass with crack in.

The host was helpful and patient with any queries we had. He also offered some good local tips which helped our stay. The location was perfect for our family and has encouraged us to visit Northumberland again.

Outside was a bit untidy which in fairness was mainly due to recent storm. The host noted and apologised for this.

First. I am really not one to gripe but ..Although it did a job. It was very grubby. It needed cleaning before we used it. So we went to Lidl for spray and cloths. I think the cleaner personally needs sacking.We are not asking for The Ritz Bits of food on the side. Air fryer had food bits in it and was greasy. Washed all the crockery and cutlery before we used it because it was dirty and not fit to eat or drink with or off.Toilet seat broken in one bathroom.Cobwebs galore.Big window where the dining table sat was filthy.Veranda stunk of pee so we bleached it.No vacuum cleaner. The shower in the double bedroom was disgusting, it was filthy and needed a complete refurb, the radiator was rusted and the water was tepid at best. How run offs were recorded I don't know because it was a prime target for legionella.I have photos but not putting them up.It's such a shame because it has the potential to be great. If you are having guests stay do the basic thing. Make sure it's clean.. And to change £500 plus for a week is not fair. On the plus side it's position on the site is ideal. Short walk through the woods and down the hill to the beach. Excellent ice cream shop down there . Very disappointed.

We had a lovely stay, the location was really nice! 5 minutes walk to the beach through the short cut, we had everything we needed and it was so cosy. Internet was great for watching Netflix in the evening. Would book again!

Leuk ingericht, mooi dicht bij strand. Genoeg faciliteiten op terrein, was voor ons niet nodig, maar fijn voor gezin met jongere kinderen.

Helaas geen wasdroger, wat wassen lastig maakt bij een kort verblijf. Alles per vier uitgeteld (bestek, handdoeken etc) wat weinig ‘ruimte’ geeft. Woonkamertje was ingericht voor drie personen. Bed had een knik in ‘de rug’.

It was out of the way of the rest of the campsite.

2 out of the 3 beds where broken and the wooden slats need replacing or new beds.

Staff were absolutely amazing at communicating. Caravan in a beautiful spot, you feel quite private. Nice cozy feeling inside the van.

Oven door didn't close, luckily was just there for 2 nights so didn't really need cooker. (Pizza still cooked but took longer) heating was a absolute nightmare. It could really do with a deep clean through out. Cobwebs everywhere, bathrooms didn't smell to nice, could do with a update in them. WiFi is absolutely rubbish, dont bother paying for the premium because its just as bad. Telly just buffed the whole time. Could do with more sockets in the whole van. Maybe put a little hoover in (if anyone like me they like to clean properly before i leave) It's such a shame because if these little things were fixed I would rate 100%
