A cozy home with fire place

It was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely rent it again. It was so much better than renting a hotel room.

There wasn’t a TV in either bedroom, but it didn’t matter to me cause I don’t watch TV anyway and there’s one in the living room. So really it’s just a minor detail. And the guy I talked to said they were gonna be putting TVs in the bedroom soon.

It was locked up well and had electricity and running water. The bare minimum for maximum price, hidden fees and extra charges. We stayed for almost 2 hours and left, never to return again.

Undisclosed security deposit, fees, and unethical business practices! After making reservations through the booking app, I was sent a message to contact the host for access to the property. The host informed me there would be a $150 security deposit and a $15 processing fee. I sent $165 through cash app to gain access to the house. Once in the house I discovered there will be a $50 fee for parking and cleaning the sheets and $100 of my security deposit would be returned if the home was not damaged. Upon inspection of the home we discovered many things that could be considered damage if the host wanted to try to use that as a reason to keep my security deposit. We spent way too much time taking pictures and video to document evidence while we were supposed to be on vacation. We decided it was not worth all the hassle and left. Also the neighborhood was in very rough shape.

It’s a large house with a lot of space, and it was pretty clean.

When you arrive you need to get a hold of the manager by calling them (their voicemail was full), or texting them. They didn’t respond promptly, we had to wait about 3 hours before we could get a hold of the manager and into the property. Then they ask you for a “security deposit” of $165, of which they say they’ll keep a minimum of $15 “as a fee”, more if you pay by credit card, and maybe more if you don’t clean the house, wash the dishes, etc. before you leave. But the worst is, 3 days after our stay ended (leaving the house cleaner than we found it), we still haven’t received the deposit back. The bathroom door doesn’t really close, they have a door that rolls from the top that doesn’t cover the entrance, so when you’re on the toilet anyone in the corridor can see you (see photo). There also wasn’t any toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived.

When I got the address after booking, the neighborhood looked awful, and I attempted to cancel the next day, but they had me on the hook and refused any partial refunds or compromises. It's a shameful bait and switch operation. They know exactly what they're doing.

The location was convenient.

I was without water for a full day. I was charged $150 deposit that I knew nothing about a before booking with a $15 service fee so $165 on top of the initial price then I was charged 25 additional dollars for parking which was another inconvenience. Told that I was not gonna receive that back until I gave my honest review. I was without water for a whole day could not shower because the facilities were horrible. The fireplace is the only source of heat so it was kind of cold the first night. I was told it was no one upstairs at the top of the house yet there were people walking around all night and the TV stayed on upstairs would never book with them again. But the location was convenient and the owner was also the maintenance man as well as the host as well as everything else. This place was horrible. The worst booking I’ve ever had through this site.

It was comfortable and spacious. Also, I love taking a hot shower and the water warmed up quickly. The area was very quiet and the neighbors were nice. The host Joshua was available anytime I needed him.

There wasn’t any hot water, very little heat and it was a cold night, extra fees that we weren’t aware of, pictures weren’t what was shown on your website, no silverware to speak of except some plastic spoons and the place was dirty. Not sure of how this place got on your website. We are very frequent Airbnb users and this is the 1st bad review we have ever had to give .

The house was clean and the manager was extremely nice and helpful. The neighbourhood was good and we really enjoyed our stay. Joshua helped make us feel safe
