Erehwon - History in Bodmin

In town centre and near the camel trail. Accommodation clean and set out nicely.

The extra pull out bed which we used as a couch was not very comfortable.

The place smelled,specially the bedroom , the light on the bedroom ceiling was hanging down , no comfort on the settee,the lights on the ceiling were so bright and you had to have them both on together ,there was two patch’s of damp in the living room ,the fridge door dropped when open and the light switch in the living room wasn’t straight or properly fixed ,no where to hang your clothes not a very nice place to spend Christmas and there wasn’t an out side light that worked .

Very well equipped, great value - a good property and location for my stay.

I had the ground floor of a cottage to myself in the old part of Bodmin. It was very quiet and very comfortable, and I had everything that I needed for a nice overnight stay. I had dinner in a good restaurant about two minutes away from the cottage.

Great location with easy day trips to the coast and the Eden Project. Basic accommodation but perfectly comfortable, clean and with well fitted kitchen and bathroom, and heating system warmed the place up quickly.

Slightly weird smell?! Might have just been the previous occupants were smoking or the damp-ish nature of lower floor. No dustpan and brush which made it tricky to clean floors. Parking on the slope was a bit hairy! But possible with good clutch control :) overall was a great stay, these things did not affect the experience too much.

The location is very good for visiting places of interest on the East and West coasts. It is very convenient for food shopping, just a short stroll onto the high street. There are good dog walks within walking distance of the property. The host was quick to respond to queries I had.

There wasn't a wardrobe to hang clothes in or a big enough towel rail for three damp bath towels. I needed to bring my own cheese grater!
