Erehwon - History in Bodmin

Kitchen ok, breakfast bar table had a microwave oven on it, taking up space to sit on seat in front of microwave. Had to walk around breakfast bar to other side to put meal in to cook. Microwave should be on unit top and maybe toaster on breakfast bar. Bedroom basic but ok Living room area bad, 1 small settee which was very uncomfortable and arms on settee not attached to settee, kept falling on floor. Partner couldn't get off settee, too low. Stark led lights on open plan living area to kitchen were far too bright. Switching lights off it was too dark to walk around. Needed some soft lighting or lamp in living room. Led lights are very bad for eyes. Outside front door no light. The parking wasn't good at all. Down a steep slope and dangerous in the dark. Not ideal for disabled partner. Had to park at side of cinema opposite apartment. Badly lit area. Some light from another business premise shone light but still very dark area to walk to apartment down steep road/opening/passage. Settee area could do with 2 settees in a L shape with corner of the room.

The place was clean

A lot smaller than expected. Didn’t like the door leading to upstairs in the lounge! Although it was locked, we didn’t know who was upstairs or who could come in, but we could hear people up there. The sofa bed was as hard as a board, not comfy at all.

Location, didn’t feel safe at night and parking the car was impossible. It was cold too

The property was very clean and suited my Mum and I for our stay. However, I couldn’t find the pin to get into the property and I contacted the owner and they seemed very unfriendly. Just felt like we just a transaction. Other than that the stay there was good. Thank you

The sofa was extremely uncomfortable and was so far away from the TV. Would have been so much better if they had supplied a blanket to make it more comfortable

Very clean and well-equipped kitchen.

Does not sleep more than two people though they take bookings for three. Sofabed is both too short for a +170cm person and very uncomfortable. The location is a bit hmmmm. The lock on the door is ridicilous. Very cold though they do provide electric heaters. But difficult to warm up and find a proper temperature.

Central for travel in Cornwall. Clean.

The bed is totally worn out, had to sleep on the very edge. Cooktop and oven would not work, even after consulting the provided instructions. I have the same induction top at home! Had a microwave, so, ok.
