Breakfast was good Bedding was very excellent Towels were best we've ever had

Just a bit or tidy up on patio area(weeds etc) and loose slabs on slope up to rooms

The location and facilities are very good. It’s a lovely grade 2 listed building. It’s excellent value. Just be aware you need a credit card to secure against room damage. Because I have an Apple Watch I don’t carry a credit card and they were tense moments when I thought we couldn’t book in. We had paid the full price in advance via Booking.com. It needs to be made aware that you physically need a card. I don’t think I’ve come across any hotels that require you to secure a credit card in case you damage the room. However, the facilities for this lovely country pub, our first class and I would certainly stay here again.

I didn’t like the fact that they wanted a credit card to secure against possible room damage. If you like me and use an Apple Watch or phone for your credit cards, you could find yourself struggling.

Good value for money and exceptional staff. Very friendly and helpful, and peaceful location.

Facilities a little tired a breakfast a bit limited.
