Palazzo Cutò suite & charme

The location is a 5 min walk from the railway and bus station, easy for transfers to the airport. The property is on the main historic road of Palermo. If you turn left outside the front of the building a 15 min walk takes you to historical sights and many places to eat. We were close to the market, a must see and the main historical buildings 20 min walk. The shower worked well, the air con was good. The owner responded quickly to all enquiries. You can bus to the airport for 6 euros, buy your tickets at the bus station before travelling. It takes an hour to get to the airport. We used the local buses to get to the best beach near Palermo , Mondello beach, you take the bus numbered 101, and Chang to bus 806 at pizza Crispi, the cost is 1.40 euros single journey it takes 50 mins. Sun beds are 15 euros from 2pm to 7pm.

We booked the property after seeing the picture above, the reality is our apartment was not in this area but through a passageway to the rear of the building. The apartment was fine but only had the very basics, no iron, no kettle, no dish towel to dry the plates and cutlery, no cutting board. The hot plates were fiddly to operate and took an age to heat a pan of water. The apartment looks bigger in the photos on booking.com, the balcony is small and wasn’t the best experience as you are looking into the neighbours bedroom. The apartment would benefit from some information on operating the hot plate, and what is near to you locally to visit and to eat. The Wi-Fi never worked properly neither did the smart TV.

lovely comfortable apartment well away from the street in classic building - nicely decorated with good facilities. Helpful staff arranging bag storage and giving recommendations.

The apartment was cozy and comfortable. The bed was excellent. The location was a short walk to the sites we wanted to visit. The host was great.

A very kind, authentic and considerate host. And the space is balanced, nice design, good pieces of furniture and materials.
