Royal York & Faulkner Hotel

Location and staff were lovely.

The room was very hot but we were there in the middle of a heat wave.

Location right on the front. See facing room. Helpful staff. Breakfast was very nice and fresh, with good quality ingredients.

Room was extremely hot as facing the sun all day. Small fan supplied, but no sufficient. Carpet had alot of stains and felt unclean. Room very dated. Breakfast service both morning felt chaotic and unorganised. Both mornings had trouble being given a table and a delay in the Breakfast being served. Staff where very pleasant. The fire alarm went off at about 7am. It was a false alarm but we felt there was no staff available to advise guests. I feel if this had been a real fire there was no organisation. This is worrying as the hotel is a very awkward shape with lots of corridors.

Super Lage direkt am Meer und trotzdem ruhig und zentral gelegen. Geräumiges Zimmer, bequeme Betten.

Ziemlich in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Der Lift ist eine Zumutung.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
