Well situated near town centre and seafront

This hotel clearly caters for a very specific clientele who are in the main elderly coach party guests. This wasn’t really apparent when we booked. We felt as though we didn’t fit in here. Our room was large but quite hot and if we opened the window there was quite a lot of noise from air conditioning ducts. The breakfast service was quite perfunctory. You are only given one chance to order everything you want from the large menu. No explanation of dishes is given to customers, no suggestions to, for example, add toast. Portions were minimal. My wife ordered eggs on toast with tomato. What came was just one small egg and half a tomato. Disappointing. On the positive side the reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Seaview and location for evening wedding One member of staff shone with a tass, at breakfast. This gentleman should do the staff training on rapport and customer service!

Reception staff misable, no smiles upon arrival. Breakfast staff don't listen and are abrupt. Stains on carpet in are room, bed on slope. Didn't have a good night sleep. Pillows flat

Big rambling building Very tired after ground floor room info states afternoon tea included with full board !! Internet states association with golf club = reduced rates !! Fire alarm going off resulted in many elderly in night clothes not knowing what to do I urged them to leave the building quickly It was a false alarm but an eye opener
