"Ideal location"

7.0

Great location, comfortable beds, good layout with a bedroom rack side of the living space.

Apartment was generally clean but black mould in both showers and on one of the bathroom ceilings was quite unsightly. Kitchen bin is ridiculously small!

"Enjoyable Stay in Southwold"

10.0

Location is great and the apartment is spacious and comfortable. Easy parking on the street. Short walk into the town for restaurants.

Difficult to see the key safe and the front door lock in the dark. Heating could have been on for our arrival. One toilet seat not properly attached.

"Fabulous, comfortable flat in a great location"

8.0

The flat was in a great location by the pier & only a 10-minute walk into town. It was on a quiet road with parking right outside. The pier is quirky and a great place to visit and the beach is clean and easy to access. Everywhere is well kept and people are friendly and helpful. Southwold is a lovely town with great history, restaurants and bakeries and charming towns and villages to get to locally. Initially we had no hot water but it was fixed within a few hours which was great service.

Nothing major, 2nd bathroom was quite small and we found the shower impossible to work! Would suggest switching off ECO on boiler in bed 2, to stop it firing all night which can disturb sleep, with no instructions we didn't risk it ourselves.

"Good location, but no comfort or attention to detail."

3.0

The location of the apartment is excellent. Just a short walk into Southwold in one direction, or to the pier in the opposite direction. The beds were comfortable and the heating was efficient! YES - we needed it in August!

We booked the apartment for 7 nights, so as two "older" couples, the ladies had no where to hang dresses, as one bedroom has no wardrobe at all and in the other bedroom the antique wardrobe has no hanging rail, just hooks. We did ask for a hanging rail, but nothing was done. We also asked for a shower caddy, as no where to put anything in the showers, so constant bending, which at 80 years + isn't ideal... We had to arrange for the owner to come on the first morning to address the lose taps in both en-suites and mould in the showers, the cleanliness did leave a lot to be desired. So we did speak to the owner and pointed out our disappointment which was not actioned. He used bleach to try to remove the mould and left us having to buy replacement bleach to clean toilets and try the mould again. The windows in the porch area are in need of a good clean and there is nowhere to sit to use a mirror for hair drying. Seriously lacking any comforts or thought of guests. Having just stayed in another location, where everything was thought of, this made Craighurst even more disappointing and lacking.

"Lovely location, beach on the doorstep."

8.0

The location was ideal, and we sat eating breakfast overlooking the sea each morning. Lovely running and walking routes. No difficulties parking outside the property. A very entertaining gig on the green at Queen Street while we were there, a 10-minute walk from the property.

One of the en-suite shower cubicles/WC was a bit small but was adequate.
