Kings Head by Chef & Brewer Collection

Room was lovely, on two levels so bags of space. Breakfast was good- could have been a bit hotter but it was very busy. Also think breakfast could be offered a bit later. I think this would cut out the rush at 8.30 too.

Room was fairly simple and basic. I have stayed there a few times previously in better rooms. Breakfast was good with quick service.

Tried to get into the bedroom 30 minutess earlier but no joy. there was no lounge room to relax.

Central location for touring the area.excellent staff.food service was slow but oh produce was superb.

The decoration and style and location was lovely and that they welcome dogs in the bar .

Could do with a really good clean sorry to say that as it is a lovely hotel.

The staff were exceptionally helpful in every respect. Given that we were are group of golfers with golf equipment. They facilitated a 'quiet' corner where we were able to have a sing song with guitar. Excellent all around.

Nicely decorated quirky room, easy access with good free parking and great breakfast. Good shower with nice shower gels and creams on offer.

Main thing was that the toilet in our room did not flush well. The bed was a bit too firm for me but I'm sure okay for most people. Also WiFi box on beam above bed had very bright flashing lights so we had to unplug as disruptive to sleep. Room main light was a bit dim but adequate.

Great location, food was excellent, staff friendly and helpful..great shower

Had to ask for the heating to be turned on, which they did and was then ok. WiFi very slow and didn’t connect sometimes
