Beach Apartments - 1st Floor Cleveleys

It was not clean and looked in disrepair

Unpleasant odour on arrival. On inspection found pealing paint and mould in the upstairs bedroom. After trying to ignore it we couldn't so left and came home.

Enough beds for everyone, parking right outside the door.

No heat, broken door handle (appears to have been noted in previous reviews), broken toilet seat (also previously noted in reviews). Heat only stays on for 2 hours and when we asked how to increase the time limit, no response was ever given. It was very cold when we first got there and the shut off during the night and was cold in the morning.

It could be a lovely place

It was absolutely filthy. The carpets and floors had not been cleaned, the skirting boards and trims in the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned for what looked like an age. The toilet seat was broken, there was damp in the attic bedroom, hair on the bedding and the towels were wet. I actually looked up to see if there was a leak from the roof. The place also stank of food, we left the windows open to air it but it still smelt.

Great communication & very quick to respond with any questions. Location was excellent for what we wanted. fact you could book for just 1 night was fab. Lovely & warm good price for 5 adults

parking was a bit of an issue although it was provided for 1 vehicle (we had 2) an it was out of season so probably worse in summer. hallway needs painting (looks a bit shabby) rest was fine.

Spacious, safe, close to amenities

Place was cold, smelt of damp and sewage, toilet seat broken, kitchen sides dirty, WiFi didn't work, TV was hard to work

Great location - a short walk to pubs, shops, etc. The beds were really comfy, all very clean.

Obviously it's a self catering apartment. We only stayed for 1 night but if I were to stay again, I would need to remember to take toilet roll, soap, milk, etc I don't expect it to be fully stocked, but a few basics would be nice. Having said that, I would definitely stay here again.
