Himalayan view stay - Pahado wala ghar

View is good owner is also excellent They knows how to convince and make fool of their guest by providing minimum services with their sympathatic words.

After my bitter experience at the Hotel,I understand that even this feedback request is a formality. And I can see that these guys do not care and would have no answers & solutions for their pathetic guest service. Here is the list of events First of all thanks to the owner for arranging our pick up to the stay as place was totally unknown to us Location is good. Hospitality (Zero) Room amenities (0) No Tv Remotes😂,No key for the room, No privacy etc.. Not even a breakfast was served nor a single meal because as per owner so called chef just left for the leave. Even not allowed to take meal from outside The concern stated by the owner was Owner words “ Yar rehne do bartan kon dhoyega yha”. We payed for the complimentary breakfast package not even the tea could be delivered to the room we have to go their kitchen to pickup the tea. This is the worst hospitality we have ever experienced.

As the property is located closed to the top of one of the highest points in Mussoorie, the views from the property are absolutely amazing. The stay is managed by a pair of brothers, who put a lot of effort into making sure that the guests are comfortable. Their energy is infectious! We caught a stomach bug from eating out in the Mall Road, and the brothers helped so much to try and get us back to good health at the earliest. Thank you Gaurav bhaiyya and Vaibhav bhaiyya! Our room and bed were comfortable. Food was good as well, but requires planning and waiting, but that is because there is only one kitchen staff and food is prepared fresh from scratch which is a positive. A paid shuttle service is run by them between the property and Mall Road, which has to be relied upon because one cannot take a commercial vehicle (hired scooty, taxi, etc.) up to the property, as the access is through Mall Road.

Not all rooms have balcony attached; I feel that this clarity should be provided to travellers prior to booking. They were accommodative of our request to shift to a better room once it became available, but unfortunately it was only for the last day of our 4 night stay. Some maintenance within the rooms (hard to close the bathroom door), and the addition of a couple of basic amenities are required (wardrobe in one of the rooms, draft-blockers for balcony doors, kettle, etc.), which we have fed back to the brothers and hopefully they will get it sorted soon. The hospitality n comfort by Mr Vaibhav n Gaurav was amazing. The inputs n guidance was awesome

While both are handcuffed in terms of local municipal norms, we couldn't take up our hired vehicle during day time, but yes, they were available for pick up n drop to Mall road

Staff was good and the stay was pleasent.

I don't recommend this hotel if you are here for enjoying the mall road because this hotel is not accessible if you decide to walk to mall road. This hotel is very far and on very narrow road and on even more height from the mall road. You have to literally track to hotel if you are bare foot. And also if you decide to take your car to hotel you have to be ready for very narrow road driving till hotel from mall road.

the property is good & was clean but it’s located at the top where you cant reach by yourself if you have bags with you.

the location and as per the price the rooms are quite small. Not enough space to open up your trolley bag and then not much walking space. So they will come to pick you up n drop but it will be chargeable per pickup n drop. And the location is such that you can’t reach by yourself because rented vehicles are not allowed on that road so basically you have to opt for pickup n drop. Also when we asked for the menu they didn’t provide n told verbally. Later we were charged for almost one night stay amount for 2 meals for 2 person which was quite expensive.

Owner behavior was good.But mostly lip service.Room was average.Helpful staff.More or less clean.

Location was very difficult to reach for old people.It is at a good height from mall road.Although owner provide cab service for pickup and drop but charged Rs 150/- per trip .Food was average.You can get cheaper and tasty food at any hotel in mall road with variety.Non veg food is extremely costly compared to portion,taste.Rooms are not properly furnished.No rack,no hanger in almirah.Needs improvement with respect to price.You can get very good rooms in mall road with slightly more cost

The view was fine when there was no smog around. For most of our 3 day stay the area was full of smog despite summer and no rain around so could not see much far from the room or balcony. The same view is however visible from many other spots in mussoorie.

The rooms were very basic. No wardrobe in our room. No mirror. Room size was so small that cant even open a full suitcase on the floor. Balcony was there but due to smog all around can't see much far. Many of the things were old or broken. Fan in our room didnt work. Window mesh had holes.We had taken 2 rooms one for us and one for our parents. The TV in other room did not work. When we informed them they started saying it was working when we gave you and you must have done something. The property is located at the hill in mall road where impossible to reach on own because private vehicles or taxis not allowed and have to rely on their shuttle for which they charge extra for each trip up and down. Breakfast is included but very limited options and quantity and if you take even a slice of bread they will charge extra. On top of that they do not inform about any of these extra charges upfront but put it in the bill at the end. When told this to owner he cited some fine print mentioned somewhere on their site which was not even present in my booking confirmation. Also the owner gets very irritated and talks rudely if asked about any the numerous extra charges they apply without informing. I had even talked to him before arriving specifically about pick and drop from mall road to the property since it seemed to be in remote area and he had mentioned it will be all taken care but never mentioned that I would be charged for each pick or drop. His intention seemed to be just to get the extra money for hidden charges and get it over with. Seems he is new to hospitality industry. Not sure how he will scale with this attitude. Overall I had booked this place for the view but ended up regretting my decision because of the limited and shabby accomodation, smog playing spoil sport with the view, owners rude attitdue and intend to cheat with all extra costs not informed upfront.

I can write about a thousand things in appreciation, but I'll just say , HANDS DOWN , it was my best stay ever. Words aren't enough to describe the experience I had there. Gaurav bhaiya and Vaibhav bhaiya, you guys are amazing hosts and amazing people . This is the first time when I am at a stay and I'd rather stay out with you guys than be in my room. Super super super friendly . The place is amazing with a stunning view and amazing food . Whenever I'm visiting next , I know I won't have to look for a place to stay. I will miss you all so much. Thank you for making my time so memorable ❤️ I will meet you guys again, soon.

The hotel location and view was amazing. The staff were too attentive. Especially the owners Gaurav Bhaiya and Vaibhav bhaiya , it felt like home🫶🏻. They were very familiar. He personally came to the mall road to pick us up. They made amazing fish curry and chicken curry for us which was too delicious😋. I had a cold fever, then Gaurav bhaiya made a kaddha for me thrice😍😍. It was the first time we visited mussoorie but he guided us to which places we could visit and explore. He was very helpful to make our trip memorable and exciting. Both brothers made us comfortable. After checking out , it was raining and the weather was cloudy. Gaurav bhaiya and Vaibhav bhaiya literally spend that 2-3 hrs with us. We shared a lot of experiences about our life. The amount of love and respect we got from both of them means a lot. Vaibhav bhaiya gave me the nickname " Doremon"😂😅. I got 2 elder brothers there. I can write a book about my experience in Himalayan stay but this feedback page is not having that enough space😅 So I am ending this with a paragraph only😍 I will recommend you guys to visit them. I can bet you will love their company and their service. It was an adventurous experience. I came from there with unconditional love and unforgettable memories. There is nothing to dislike.. We have experienced an amazing stay. I didn't want to come back from there.
