1. Location: it was very far from mall road and you can not go there by walking. You have to take cab from hotel only and they will charge 150₹ for each time. 2. There was not that much privacy in room. Becoz balcony was attached with other room and also the curtain holder was not proper. If you try to close curtain fully, it can fall on you.

My stay at Himalaya View Stay in Mussoorie was absolutely fantastic! The room offered stunning mountain views, perfectly complemented by the pleasant weather. Its location was ideal, providing both tranquility and easy access to the bustling Mall Road. An amazing stay with a home-away-from-home feeling! The hotel is run by two brothers, Gaurav and Vaibhav, who are incredibly cooperative, friendly, and always ready to help. Their hospitality truly stands out and makes you feel like part of the family. One of the highlights was the food — Chef Naresh prepares delicious, home-style meals that are both comforting and satisfying. Every meal felt like it was made with love, just like at home. The location is another big plus — perched on top of a hill, the hotel offers a stunning view of Mussoorie. Waking up to that view every day was a treat in itself! If you're looking for a peaceful, homely stay with good food and great hosts, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

The positivity and helpfulness in their responses to customers' queries by the two brothers who host the property, both on phone and in person. The spaciousness of the room. The location of the property, with a 180 degrees view of the mountains, which were unfortunately hardly visible due to clouds.

It took them 1.5 hours to serve dinner after it was ordered. The room had a double bed and a table, but no chairs for sitting to have dinner. They were provided immediately after requesting. We wanted to have breakfast at 8.00 am in order to go out early, but were told it would be available only after 8.30 am. The toilet hygiene faucet needs repair to function properly. The TV was not in working order, but was set right after we reported it. The extra pillows kept in the cupboard did not have pillow covers. A few extra clothes hangers in the cupboard would have been useful. Perhaps an inspection of the room should be carried out before the customers arrive. Our feeling was the property is understaffed.

Staying at this homestay in the centre of Mall Road was one of the most heartwarming experiences of my solo travels. As a woman traveling alone, there’s always a bit of hesitation when it comes to comfort and safety but from the moment I arrived (and unfortunately fell sick the same day), Vaibhav and Gaurav made me feel like I was part of their own family. They went above and beyond bringing me warm meals, checking in on me constantly, and making sure I had everything I needed to rest and recover. It was the kind of care you’d only expect from loved ones, not hosts. Once I was better, they helped me plan my days around Mussoorie, making sure every moment felt special. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality turned what could have been a difficult trip into one of the most memorable chapters of my life. I will forever be grateful for how they showed up for me. Truly wonderful human beings. If you're ever in Mussoorie, this is more than just a stay. It’s a heartfelt experience.
