Cozy Castle view flat in Edinburgh EB9

Its a good enough location but nothing else about it was good.

The apartment is described as a cosy castle view flat but its more like a dog house with rats running around everywhere and even some dead ones outside the entrance. Kitchen was horrible and dirty and flies everywhere windows dont work, no wifi and no shower hot water so had to have a cold shower. Paid almost €1k for four nights moved out after first day. Owners said they would review but got no where with them. They should be kicked off booking.com I would rather sleep on the streets than here again. Utterly the most shocking bad stay I ever had anywhere from my world travels and that includes hostels etc.Save your time and money and book anywhere else.

Very central to all nearby locations & clean property.

We had an issue with warm water. None of the taps (including shower) were running any warm water. This was indeed brought up to staff since we couldn’t take bath & staff did confirm they’ll send a plumber to fix this but that wasn’t the case. We struggled to take bath during our stay there which was very annoying.

Location was good

No fridge no cups etc window boarded up no hot water to the shower. Don't think it should be on booking.com

Die Lage in einer Seitenstraße zur Princess street war super. Die Größe des Apartment war gut. Das Bett war super bequem.

Die Aussage "castle view" ist falsch! Es ist lediglich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Haus selbst ist in einer Seitenstraße von hohen Häusern umgeben. Oberste Etage gelegen viele Treppen zum auf und ab gehen. Die Küche ist spärlich eingerichtet an Utensilien, es gibt keinen Kühlschrank und die Waschmaschine ist schimmelig. Trotz Reinigung durch Personal war es leider nicht sauber. Warmwasser für Dusche hat nicht funktioniert, wurde reklamiert, Vermieter kam hier nicht entgegen. Entweder eiskalt duschen oder nur waschen. Vermieter hat auch nicht mehr reagiert, zwecks Rabatt oder ob ein Handwerker kommt.

The kitchen is not fully equipped, no fridge in the summer weather . Difficult to store food . Water leakage from the toilet seat . Small insect seen .

It is on 3rd floor with uncomfortable stairs We could not use the shower water Safety is not confident

Nice and spacy appartment in the very center of Edinburgh

Strange set of equipment: There is a stove, but no pans. There is TV that connected to nothing. There are bedside lamps but no power outlets to connect. And so on... No WiFi. And shower electricel water heater doesn't work.

Infested, broken window, stains on couch, kitchen cupboard doors falling off, gas canisters outside window, someone's washing hanging up outside, couldn't stay with the beasties crawling everywhere, nobody contacted us, want our money back or will go to Edinburgh council and EHO

The location

The basics such as hot water and wifi were not available. Plus the toilet needs repairing
