Exquisite Central York Abode - Sleeps 6

Was hard to find where the lock boxes we drop around the opposite side of the complex we were lucky that the cleaners were around and help us

Location close to station and city centre. Safe and secure. Lift. Great room sizes. Quiet - double glazing. Styled nicely..Good managing company, very responsive.

Looked good but lacked facilities for example only wine glasses, no other glasses. Kitchen poorly set up to use. The mattresses and pillows on all beds were soft, flat and uncomfortable.

Location was fantastic, easy to get around in York as it is. But to stay in a place that is in the thick of it all and walking distance to the Train station. Fantastic! Well decorated, modern with a well equipped Kitchen suite.

The beds were a little uncomfortable, I like a lot of space in my bed so I may be a little biased. But the quality of mattress could have been better, a firmer mattress would have helped.

It was warm. There was a lift to the floor we were on. It was close to the town centre

Getting the keys was a nightmare because of how difficult it was find the lock boxes and then to actually find the building we were in. A Google Maps link would have been great, with arrows or similar. Other people were milling around having the same issue. They did absolutely nothing to accommodate a disabled person or an elderly person when asked if we could leave our heavy bags at the property prior to check-in. The beds were uncomfortable so neither of us got much sleep and we had to shut the windows because of how noisy the generator(or pump?) was outside. The bedroom door, didn't shut and the other one rattled all night because of a draught, regardless of the window being open or shut. The bath is designed poorly and wouldn't go above my knees/shins without draining. It also took 30-40 minutes to draw the bath. There were no handles or anything, to actually get out of the bath with and as a disabled person(which they knew) I struggled to get out of it so didn't use it again after the first one. The en-suite bathroom was fine but two of the lights didn't work(or the switches?) and It was generally quite grimy. The sinks were also very shallow/too wide so for somebody who soaks their hands in a full sink, It wasn't great. The cups and spoons we used were dirty and head some kind of smudges/lipstick on them and considering this place included a £70 cleaning fee, this was absolutely unacceptable. We had to wash them ourselves on arrival. My father was accosted by somebody(on his birthday of all days) who kept saying he wasn't allowed in, even though I was coming down from our flat to meet him at the front gate during the evening. Presumably because he has long hair and a beard.

Clean, great location

Sleeps six people but only 5 mugs and 3 glasses 🥴
