Es ist eine schön gestaltete Anlage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Essen in Ordnung. Das Zimmer hatte einen separaten Eingang.

Sehr enttäuscht waren wir vom Zimmer. Es war klein und dunkel. Für den Hund war kaum Platz im Zimmer für eine Hundematte. Die Fenster lassen sich nur ein kleines Stück herunterschieben, so dass keine Luft hereinkommt und es sehr heiß im Zimmer war. Auch der kleine Standventilator konnte hier nichts bewirken. In der Nacht hatten wir konstant 26 Grad im Zimmer, was für uns und unseren Hund kaum auszuhalten war. Da man aufgrund der Hitze nicht die Vorhänge vorziehen konnte, schien die ganze Nacht die Außenbeleuchtung aufs Bett.

The location is lovely also very convenient for getting the park and ride bus into Whitby

The room was clean but the bathroom had a very strong weird smell so strong it hit the back of your throat. There was thick black mould in the shower . We had very little sleep due to this.

Location absolutely beautiful the staff were so helpful and the food was good.

Nice food plenty of room nice garden pond could do with the high plants clearing leaving room for the moorhens to hide

Beautiful outdoor space

The setting was beautiful however the room was not as described in the description and was very disappointing 2 single beds pushed together was rather uncomfortable as a couple if we would have wanted a single bed we would have requested it

Initially loved the look of the building and had high hopes,of a characterful place to stay. Lovely setting and very peaceful. Lovely and clean too. Loved the peacocks. Bed very comfy and a lovely big shower. Plenty of fans provided which we were grateful for as it was so hot with the heatwave.

When we went to our room it soon lost its character. Lots of steel and pre-fab look. Felt a bit holiday campish and at £200 for one night for two adults and a dog I was very disappointed. Breakfast was a bit chaotic. Shortage of cutlery which we had to pinch off other tables. No saucers at all for the cups and our poached eggs were very over done.

We’ve stayed here 3 times now and it’s very comfortable, great breakfast and location, the staff are all lovely and extremely helpful.
