Everything, lovely hotel, free parking, excellent food, fantastic location. Peacocks roaming the grounds were lovely to see.

Lack of staff. Often long queues at the bar as you have to order all food at the bar.

Amazing stay and amazing hotel. Staff were attentive and food was delicious. Very dog friendly. We will definitely be returning.

The room we had first was booked as a feature room it didn’t mention on booking .com the feature was a mezzanine bed . My partner had a recent knee surgery so couldn’t do stairs easily and I would not have booked this room because of that . The girl on reception listened to what I said and moved us the next day . She is a real asset to the stables and so helpful.

Location was convenient, after visiting Whitby, grounds very impressive. Staff friendly and professional. Breakfast selection was great.

The room was ok but felt more like a motel, not worth the money paid. Very hot and stuffy, prior to opening the only window (velux). The stool upstairs was extremely heavy. The condiments table (kettle & cups) too low down and very basic. Would not stay again.

Continental breakfast was good and staff very helpful

Spotlessly clean bathroom. Staff are all great. Well located. Good food. Lovely views from the restaurant. Lovely grounds.

This was a feature room. The electric blind on the velux window did not work so was permanently closed. Upper bedroom area is generally uncomfortable. Tight on space with sloping ceilings. Dressing table stool far too heavy to move. Had to go downstairs in the dark to use the bathroom. Won't be booking a feature room again.
