The Stables - The Inn Collection Group

The room we had first was booked as a feature room it didn’t mention on booking .com the feature was a mezzanine bed . My partner had a recent knee surgery so couldn’t do stairs easily and I would not have booked this room because of that . The girl on reception listened to what I said and moved us the next day . She is a real asset to the stables and so helpful.

Room was cold on arrival

Spotlessly clean bathroom. Staff are all great. Well located. Good food. Lovely views from the restaurant. Lovely grounds.

This was a feature room. The electric blind on the velux window did not work so was permanently closed. Upper bedroom area is generally uncomfortable. Tight on space with sloping ceilings. Dressing table stool far too heavy to move. Had to go downstairs in the dark to use the bathroom. Won't be booking a feature room again.

Good room with a very comfortable bed. Walking distance to the bar/restaurant and about a mile away from Whitby but on the other side of the road is the Park and ride to go into Whitby without the car. I’ve stayed in dog friendly hotels before but The Stables went the extra mile, all staff made a big fuss of our dog.

The only thing that would have improved the room would be a mini fridge but not a deal breaker just an observation

Our room was quite noisy from the traffic road side.

Best place that I have ever stayed in. It had Beautiful decor, excellent food, tranquil location, and great access to bus for going to town.
