Spacious Flat with Patio & Parking in city centre

A nicely decorated apartment and ideal for what we wanted for one night

Unfortunately we could not lock the back door of the property (it was unlocked when we arrived and the key provided was broken) I called and messaged the property contact to try and sort something out but I didn't hear back until the following morning by which point it was too late. As women staying alone this was far from ideal and we did not sleep great as we didn't feel completely safe. We also could not get the TV to work, as it kept saying there was no signal. This place has a lot of potential but sadly was lacking in a few areas.

We liked the location, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds were clean and comfortable.

There was no heating in the property apart from space heaters which took ages to warm the rooms. One heater in the lounge didn’t work and there were no instructions on how to use anything. There were doorknobs missing from doors and the bathroom wasn’t that clean, especially the shower.

Excellent location with parking. Good facilities.

Only electric oil radiators in bedrooms and a towel rail in kitchen adequate but the rest of the flat was cold. The fan heater in the lounge didn't appear to work it just blew cold air. door handles were missing from several doors. Road noise was a little intrusive bit to be expected due to location.

The apartment is on a fairly busy road, (expected as town centre), couldn't hear any traffic at all inside (with doors/windows shut). I loved having the patio, great to be able to open the door & our pup could go out, and our 'vaper' could pop out also. Loved having so much space.

I assumed with it having a patio that it was ground floor, it wasn't, it's a basement apartment & the stairs are both steep & narrow. The main reason I booked there was because I'm disabled & have mobility problems so the patio (ground floor) was a main reason I booked it. My adult kids took a bedroom each, both complained about loud upstairs neighbour walking loudly enough to wake them up. We also needed/asked for bedding for the sofa bed in the lounge, we were given a single duvet with a double cover for 2 adults, luckily we'd bought a smallish blanket for travelling in the car. My partner was walking on the patio & his foot went straight through one of the decking planks as it was rotten.

Great location and also the rooms was very clean and comfortable.. would definitely recommend!!
