Vacation Village Phra Nang Lanta - SHA Extra Plus

The massage facility and staff were amazing. The reception staff great. Room size great and bed comfy. View was amazing and the beach was ok. Pool was nice and views were amazing.

Breakfast was terrible, rest of staff did not understand me well. I used Google translate to share the topics but each day different items were not changed in the room from cleaning. Location was at a minus because each trip anywhere cost around 20 euro since it is at lower end of island and poor taxi connections despite 4 taxi booths around the corner. Noone wants to drive 1 way there. Ate breakfast elsewhere,.made most of 4 nights and stayed close to area. End of season can tell staff is tired of farang.

Lovely place to stay, right on a beautiful beach. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The bar and restaurant next door are wonderful. A very nice place to stay to chill for a bit.

We stayed here four times over ten years. The hotel is old school island, not gltitzy and very natural. The staff are lovely and the location on Bahn Kantiang is second only to smaller islands like Koh Kradan to the South. In that the Pimalai is down the road and there is no such thing as a private beach in TH, it's not likely that much will change here. We have several "go-tos" nearby for lunch and dinner including Drunken Sailor, Same Same on the beach and a couple of new places this season - Black Swan for breakfast and Rock and Roll up the hill. The location is quiet and great for families. We use Lanta Diver who are based in Saladan but have an office at the Pimalai.

Having said that the hotel's not changed much, the linen and towels are getting tired - recognise the COVID era was tough on this region but it's time for a bit of investment. The rooms are spacious with good beds but the bathrooms are ready for an overhaul, especially the showers. Room servicing can be a bit hit and miss - we see past this for the location and staff.

Service was very bad and the staff were not very friendly. The WiFi is also very poor.
