The Stable - cottage with a spectacular lake view

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Großes Bad mit Dusche und Badewanne. Wohn-Schlafzimmer mit kleinem Tisch und Sofa mit Couchtisch. Separate Küche, gut ausgestattet, insbesondere hochqualitative Küchengeräte. Entspannter Hund der Besitzer hat sich gleich mit unserer Hündin angefreundet. Der Freisitz direkt vor dem Wohnzimmer ist auch sehr gemütlich. Man hat dort eine sonnige Lage, wenn die Sonne scheint. Auch Grillen ist möglich. Sehr schön angelegtes Gelände, es gibt noch weitere Unterkünfte. Man liegt recht abseits von Ortschaften, dafür himmlische Ruhe und ein Blick in die Natur und auf den schönen See. Zu den Wanderungen im Nationalpark muss man mit dem Auto fahren, von der Unterkunft aus, allenfalls nach hinten in die Hügel laufen. Der See lässt sich nicht umrunden beziehungsweise ist nicht zugänglich für Fußgänger von der Unterkunft.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à « the stable » chez Laura et Ronnie, où nous avons été super bien accueillis. Le logement est propre et confortable dans un magnifique environnement (jardin et vue sur le lac). Mention spéciale à Bertie, l’adorable golden retriever de la maison, avec lequel nous avons passé de très agréables moments pendant nos discussions avec Ronnie. Nous recommandons absolument! Nous espérons revenir bientôt

Large bathroom. Plenty of space generally ,considering it looks small on the outside. Hosts had provided eggs, milk, bread and butter. Useful porch / veranda area (cycle parking).

Signage to the property could be more comprehensive. Postcode in my satnav was misleading (not sure what was at fault)

Loved the area and the spectacular view of Lake Menteith. The Hosts were very welcoming,and very friendly accomodation was great very clean and comfortable had everything and more what we needed we had a lovely stay and it's very dog friendly, we loved Bertie the Golden retriever he is very friendly too Great scenery and walks and restaurants nearby. We are looking forward to our next stay.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like, accomodation was very clean and comfortable.
