Ropewalk Cottage - A Little Treasure By The Coast

Perfect stay and location, Ann and Brendan were perfect hosts. Accommodation was spotless and homely. Perfect location and beautiful welcome pack on arrival, William and Caroline.

Our stay was too short.

We enjoyed having the home-from-home essentials in the room and the central location to Portaferry. We only really used the room to sleep in as we were out exploring most of the day, so didn't spend time with the books, TV or cooking facilities provided. An ideal room for a couple of days exploring the local area. We both enjoyed the garden which was in full bloom and provided a lovely colourful view from inside the apartment.

Nothing really - the room is compact and ideal for a couple of nights. I wouldn't want to spend a week or more in the room.

It's attention to detail and location The hosts were superb and little extras a added bonus. We can wait to stay again in this wee gem of a cottage.

It was a beautiful property in a lovely location. Brendan was so nice & welcoming. It was so relaxing & cosy. It had everything you would need.i just wish I was staying longer but will definitely be back. The garden was stunning. It was just so nice.

Our whole visit was just perfect, not often do you find such a little treasure. The best things come in small packages and this is so true of Ropewalk Cottage, everything is at hand. Delightfully furnished and such delicious homemade treats on the welcome tray, essentials in the fridge and the best quality beverages etc... Ann & Brendan made us feel very welcome, a return visit is definitely in the future.

The cottage has everything you could possibly need. It is set a quiet area but only 2mins walk from the sea/shops. So clean, beautifully decorated and the hosts(Brendan & Ann) were lovely, very welcoming. They came down to greet us and had left a lovely welcome tray as well as goodies in the fridge. Absolutely perfect.

Nothing to dislike.

It was a perfect location and it was fully kitted out with everything we need. It really made our stay in Portaferry amazing.
