This cottage is a little gem! Set back a little from the seafront, a minute walk from the ferry. The décor is adorable, seaside tones of blue and white. The cottage was very well appointed, with everything you might need for your stay. Ann & Brendan thoughtfully provided a welcome basket, and it's such a lovely touch. The cottage has a cosy, warm feeling, and my husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. I would absolutely recommend Ropewalk Cottage to any couple visiting Portaferry.

I booked my parents in here for an early birthday present for my mum. They were both overjoyed with their trip there. The location was perfect. The cottage itself was beautiful inside and out and so cosy and comfortable.

The location, and the welcome made me feel right at home. Quiet and secure parking for my motorcycle which is a priority to any motorcycle owners. And the facilities are exceptional, perfect if you want to cater for yourself, everything you could need is supplied.

The location was great but the whole place was just fabulous in how decorated, the welcome box, its comfort and being able to sit outside.

Every you need for a perfect stay..we ended up staying an extra night..the cottages sits right beside the aquarium and close to everything in town
