Lovely location, really unique and we were lucky to have clear skies the night of our wedding and see all the stars!

Grass was quite long and I fell in the ditch next walking to the cabin 🤣 but that's nature for you!

Going number 2 in a bag was new and a bit smelly in this heat but did not let it spoil the weekend x

The views were stunning but unfortunately that’s the only nice thing about this place

Firstly when getting there we had no idea how to turn the electricity on we flicked the to switches up which was in arrival instructions yet this only worked 1 light. There is mould and water damage all around the cabin, the kettle was thick with limescale and still had water in meaning it clearly hadn’t been cleaned between stays, the mosquito net was pointless as it had holes in and the bottom wouldn’t even do up, the base of the fireplace was smashed and its stone so if you were to tread on it by accident you’d end up injuring yourself, the vents which helped airflow in the cabin were coated in dust. There were mouse droppings under the bed and the “fridge” which is listed which is actually a plug in cooler even had mould on the sides and the vent for airflow was coated in dust also. When bringing these issues to the host he was very dismissive and refused any sort of compensation we left and drove home within 30 minutes of arriving.

Amazing location, beautiful setting and everything you could need. We were lucky with the weather and there's a lovely pub a short walk away! The toilet situ isn't ideal for a couples weekend, but you're only 10 mins from a pub or supermarket 😂. Would definitely stay again.

What a fabulous location for a weekend getaway! The cabin was a breeze to find, with lots of great information from the host ahead of time, and pain-free to access with keys in the lock box. Lovely cabin with an unparalleled view from the box window. We loved the woodburner and the firepit and spent a lot of time relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere in between a few walks and trips to local pubs. Wonderful way to spend a weekend away while not having to go to far!
