ITThe cottage is a cute 1884 small building at the entrance of a large estate. The setting is really beautiful and quiet with squirrels, birds etc around.
The place is so nice and it is a pity that some details make it short from being great. Some examples: matrass in upstairs bedroom was awful, there is literally no place (e.g. a chair or similar) in both bedrooms to place clothes on other than the floor, the toilet did not even have a place for the toilet paper and it had to stay on the floor.

GBAbsolutely stunning historic house in a stunning location. The host went above and beyond for us. The Easter gift was a lovely surprise and late check out gave us time to lay in and soak in everything for that bit longer. The baby lambs on the way there were adorable. Lots of wildlife, pheasants, cows, and horses. Games and toys in the house which the little ones loved. Only thing I'd of added would be a hot tub although still fabulous without. Thankyou!
