The Yorkshire Crown - Wake Up Apartments

The location was fantastic right in the town centre. The apartment was modern and clean.

The mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable and not to my liking. You could feel the springs through and every movement made by either person made the whole mattress move. We didn’t get much sleep over the two nights because of this. There was a problem with the tv and we was unable to watch any freeview channels had to go though the apps ie bbc I player , ITVX and Netflix. Should provide a full size ironing board Although it states in capital letters FREE PARKING NEARBY this is road side parking and as it’s close to the town centre it’s not always possible. We ended up having to pay over £25 for two nights.

Prime location for this property! Beautiful apartment, very clean and comfortable. Had everything you needed. Host is excellent 👍🏻

Bathroom was high spec. Shower had a handheld and rainshower head. Shampoo/Bodywash provided. Good view towards the Crown Hotel and roundabout.

TV was not working. So noisy with the single glazing windows and frontage on the Royal Parade. Didn't realise how noisy it was. Getting into the apartment - tricky using the 4 digit keybox in the dark and then navigating the Stairway to Heaven, thank heavens, I only had a rucksack with me.

Great location in central Harrogate. Apartment was very clean, comfortable all that you would expect for having a great stay. Wanted to ad an extra night on our stay so contacted hosts who kindly sorted and just paid through bank transfer. All things were great and no complaints from us. Would definitely stay again as this was our 2nd time at this property.

There was nothing not to like.

This is a superb modern property in a historic building in a truly perfect location for a visit to Harrogate. The property is well furnished with easy foot access to the town centre, free street parking within a few minutes walk (plus nearer paid alternatives), and a free stopping/unloading bay right outside the door. We visited in November in a period of snow and the property was very warm and comforting. WiFi was good and 4G mobile data signals were strong and consistent (3 & O2).

Very minor issues; it's a little noisy (single glazing) with 2 pubs underneath and traffic driving past, but nothing more than you would expect of any town centre location. It does shake when a heavy vehicle passes by or someone walks across the floor of the apartment above (both are amplified by the windows rattling). Floors are uneven and the shower has a high step up over the bath edge that is challenging for anyone with mobility issues. The entrance stairs are quite steep (again an issue for those with mobility limitations, although they do have a strong bannister).
