Showers were a bit difficult to control the temperature

It was just right for us. We had the Castle bedroom upstairs and my son and family had the bedrooms downstairs on the lower ground floor.

The water is dangerously hot! The temperature needs to be turned down. The kids would forget to be careful and ended up with sore hands. The shower in the Castle room - door is difficult to open out the way and the water is exceptionally hot. Both my husband and I ended up getting scalded feet. I had to rinse off under the sink tap. My husband used one of the showers downstairs.

The view, facilities, location, easy to get in.

Shower upstairs seemed to be always too hot , top bathroom. Towels were a bit thin and small (bath ones), bedding was ok but not luxurious.

Absolute stunning property! The photos really do not do it justice. Spacious and modern with a fully equipped kitchen. Had a great sleep whilst there and waking up to that view on the balcony was priceless. We've already booked again for next year! Rothesay square isn't far at all and there's a woodland walk you can do instead of the steep hill which I would highly recommend. Bus services are regular from the square if wanting to go to other areas of the island and, I would 100% recommend heading along to Mount Stuart for a day out. This property really does tick every box and our group had a fantastic time staying here for a long weekend. Thank you! 🙂

Was difficult to turn the temperature down on the upstairs shower and it leaked a little from under the door, but we just put a towel down. Nothing major.
