Cwm Lodge, an idyllic retreat in the heart of Herefordshire!

The owners were lovely and it was very dog friendly. The lodge was clean and tidy and was well thought out for a small place.

Although the bed was very comfortable, it probably won't be long enough for anybody over 6ft 2in. The bedroom could also do with a chest of drawers. Also the small kitchen doesn't have anywhere to store your food.

The location was great as I was attending a family wedding at the nearby Dewsall Court. Cwm Lodge is literally a couple of miles away. Despite being very close I was concerned about how I would get from Cwm Lodge to the wedding venue and back. Paul the owner very kindly gave me a lift both to the venue and back which was incredibly kind and helpful. The family own a woodland adjacent to the accommodation and I enjoyed being able to explore that.

There was nothing I didn't like in fact quite the opposite. I was due to attend the wedding with my wife but at short notice she could not attend due to a serious family illness this was a shame but I felt quite comfortable on my own and had everything I needed to enjoy my time there.

Small, cosy lodge, which provided excellent value for money. Quiet surroundings with beautiful views. The lodge was clean and tidy, and had almost everything that we needed during our stay. Within easy reach of Hereford, Ross on Wye, and Ledbury.

A few utensils missing, notably a pizza cutter. A dustpan and brush would have been useful. The duvet was a touch small for the bed.

Really lovely room, very clean and had everything needed for a short stay. Would definitely stay again, very peaceful, wonderful hosts and lovely surrounding grounds.

Lovely compact lodge in wonderful surroundings.Spotlessly clean.Hosts were friendly and welcoming.Will be going again.

It could benefit from a few items for the disabled like a step to get into the shower but that is not a dislike just an observation

Beautiful views. Lovely well kept garden. The owners, Jo and Paul made us very welcome. The accommodation was well equipped. Very relaxing walking round the grounds, talking to the pig and their chickens!
