Cwm Lodge, an idyllic retreat in the heart of Herefordshire!

Everything! Delightfully furnished, well equipped, quiet, peaceful, and beautiful surroundings. The bed is extremely comfy, too.

Nothing! It was just perfect.

The location is idyllic with views of the surrounding countryside. As you walk through your own gate you’re greeted by a good sized patio and lawn. Cwm Lodge is beautifully quirky with a lovely living area concealing the well equipped kitchen behind what looks like a solid pillar with a wood burner effect heater (the pillar is cleverly hollow, housing the microwave and crockery). Double doors open to a very relaxing bedroom with en-suite shower room. It’s a real gem and a credit to Jo & Paul. They’re friendly yet unintrusive. Jo says good morning when she’s out tending to Shrek the pig & the birds. I did chat to them on Saturday evening for a while to say we’d love to come back for repeat stays.

Very rural setting with lovely gardens. The cottage was very comfortable and was furnished with all necessary facilities.

Nothing to dislike

The most picturesque location, very beautiful surroundings. Great lodge, everything you need & more. Extremely clean and tidy. Hosts were lovely and they have the most gorgeous rescue dog that roams around the land.

Great location and everything there we needed. Short drive to Hereford for bread and milk and a good selection of restaurants for dining. Beautiful views, quiet and comfortable, had a great nights sleep. The hosts Jo and Paul were very nice and there if we needed anything. Beautiful garden for a stroll and you’re own patio and garden to sit out in. Would definitely use again.

Location lovely, property quaint, warm and tastefully presented

All very acceptable but what would have made it even better were a few extras - like a teapot, milk on arrival, shower gel, a shelf in the bathroom and in the shower on which to put toiletries.

Great cottage well equipped in a lovely peaceful location. Absolutely loved the private penned off garden as this is what we were looking for travelling with our 2 dogs. Great walks and very dog friendly area. Owners really welcoming and friendly with great knowledge of the local area.
