Excellent hotel in a great location. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Delicious breakfast. 2 minutes cycle from velo route.

Very good evening meal at the restaurant. Nespresso machine in the bedroom. Very pleasant staff.

The breakfast was good, however for English people who do not speak French it would be good to know what is available. We had to choose what we wanted the night before but we were not made aware that there were several options as a buffet. e.g. cereal and yoghurt.

The room and location

Lack of housekeeping at the start. We were out of the room for 5 hours and they said it wasn’t long enough to clean the room. Keys kept in a basket on reception when anyone can enter in the day with no one around. Not very security conscious. You have to state the night before exactly what you want for breakfast. Which cheese, what meat, pastries but max 2. Ate lunch in the restaurant. They said we chose from the wrong menu but we chose from the one we were given and then what we wanted was not available although near start of service. We had to stay as they didn’t tell us until our starter was served but others walked out.

In centre of village with restaurant

Good location. Good parking place for motorbikes.

Price was on top end and breakfast was not included.

Really good dinner in the excellent hotel restaurant, well populated by locals (always a good sign!). Great location close to Abbey church and medieval market hall. Good local facilities. Just off the main street but very quiet as the town centre has been by-passed.

Access to parking in inner courtyard was very narrow (about 10mm either side of wing mirrors!). Room was disabled friendly with wet room in large bathroom area. Not very cosy but perfectly functional.

Helpful service. Delicious dinner. Comfortable stay all round.
