The views are lovely. The space and look and feel are good.

The windows were dirty. A slow drainage issue on bath and kitchen sink, seems to be a unresolved plumbing issue other reviewers have mentioned. The floors were a little sticky when I arrived. Primary bedroom bathroom light not working and there's mould starting to form on the walls in that bathroom too.

Liked the beautiful view of table mountain and the fact that the flat was spacious, as well as safe parking.

The flat's floor was sticky, not thoroughly cleaned.... Even though it looked clean, walking in socks showed the dirt. The mop was smelly. The toaster did not work. No dishcloths or sponges to wash the dishes and wipe the counters, even though we asked for it and got a response that it would be organised, nothing came. No one told us the geyser was switched off, only discovered it after a cold shower, searched for the issue and discovered the geyser with the switch in the other bedroom's clothing cupboard. Communication between the owners and the host needs attention, as the messages on bookings.com and the host did not match. For example: she told us to leave the keys in the box at reception, but the bookings message said to leave it in the flat. 2 different messages on the app also gives confusion, one says check out is at 10h00 and the other message says 11:00. The pans are in a terrible state, needs replacement. The cutlery also needs replacement. Some bedside mats would be nice. The washing machine is missing a foot, standing lopsided, as well as the heater and one of the chairs. The dining area could be much better with a table and chairs that suits the rest of the decor. The 2 chairs in the living area could be replaced with a second couch, for comfort. The basin stand in the master bedroom en-suite is very high and I am a tall person, 1.69m. The windows on the inside were dirty. This flat actually has a lot of potential, with a little TLC. I would book here again if all these small issues are tended to, as it is a nice flat.

The mountain view was nice.

The stay was just okay. The elevator cover was not clean, and the oil heater didn’t help much as it was quite cold. The self-catering setup could be improved, there was no dishwashing cloth, no mop, and no big bowls available.
