Above & Beyond at Warriston Lodge

Everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the welcome drink to going Above and Beyond in meeting us at the motorway junction to reunite me with my phone charger, nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely to have such high quality dog-friendly accommodation. And Moffat is just a great town, with interesting shops, lots of dog friendly food options and very friendly people. We will return!

A lovely welcome from David and Karen, they offered us a welcome drink (which was much needed after a long drive!) and David helped carry our bags upstairs. Super dog friendly which was wonderful. We had everything we needed and the extra touches and food items left in the fridge were wonderful. It was lovely to have the sitting room to relax separately in. The property was stunning and it was lovely and quiet but only a short walk to the centre. Everything very comfortable and we’d definitely return when coming back to Moffat.

We were greeted with drinks and a big smile. Karen and David were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room and bathroom were beautiful, very clean and tastefully decorated. Unexpected extras were provided. We highly recommend Warriston Lodge and will definitely be going back.

Superb rooms in a lovely location, just a short walk to the town centre. Karen and David are so friendly and helpful. We had our own bedroom, bathroom and sitting room at the top of the house. Everything we needed was there, with a great selection of food for breakfast.

Great welcome from the hosts, a glass of wine each certainly made it a warm welcome. Room was fantastic, great bay window to have breakfast. The bathroom was superb and very roomy. Great place.

A night away for my son & daughter-in-law for his birthday. Met by the owners who I’m told were lovely who left a beverage for them & a card for my son…how nice. Beautiful property very clean & great facilities in the room, they were very impressed.

Absolutely nothing.

De ontvangst was magistraal, een warme begroeting, mijn koffer werd naar boven gedragen. Ik had de hele bovenverdieping tot mijn beschikking, en tijdens de uitleg in de drie grote ruimtes werd er al een groot glas drinken, chips en nootjes achter mij neergezet. Ik mocht verblijven in een huis wat zo vol met stijl zat, zo Schots aanvoelde waarbij alles tot in de details verzorgd was. Ik heb deze plek, dit huis en deze mensen hebben in mijn hart opgenomen. Hier kwam ik thuis …. en sliep ik zo goed dat ik de wekker gemist had. Absoluut een aanrader om hier te gast te zijn, en hier ga ik zeker terug.
