Bundeli Kothi - a unique farmstay

Words cannot describe how wonderful our stay was. We are so happy we read reviews before booking because a lot of people regretted not spending more than one night, so we booked 2 nights and it was the perfect decision. Such a pivotal moment for our trip to India: a perfect way to relax, reset, and just breathe outside the chaos and noise. The hosts were home to us, family. It was like we had known each other forever, and that’s thanks to their wonderful souls. So kind, so caring. We have had incredible meals all made from raw materials and ingredients they use from their farm. We took a tour of the place as well and met their lovely dogs… the room was spotless, quiet, clean, with hot water, spacious. We’ll never ever forget this place. And the goodbye ceremony was such a treat for us, true Indian spirit, always welcoming. Such a beautiful culture, thank you!! Marta & Valeria from Italy

We loved everything about our stay at bundeli kothi. Our wonderful hosts were helpful even before arrival by arranging some transfers for us. The location is perfect - out in the countryside and very peaceful- and it’s a unique opportunity to live in rural India. The organic food from the farm was delicious and plentiful. The rooms were comfy and we loved the roof terrace for sunset views. Orchha itself is well worth the visit!

We felt very sad to leave!

Wir hatten ein tolle Zeit! Das Haus und die Zimmer sind großzügig, gepflegt, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und liebevoll dekoriert. Alles ist sehr sauber. Am besten sind die Gastgeber und das freundliche Personal. Alles sind sehr hilfsbereit und lesen einem die Wünsche von den Augen ab. Das Frühstück ist sehr frisch und lecker, genau wie das zubereitete Abendessen. Zutaten sind von der Farm und in Bio-Qualität. Wir haben einen Kochkurs und Einblicke in die ländliche Umgebung bekommen. Auch beim Organisieren waren Sakshi und Mudit stets zur Stelle. Vielen Dank für diesen grossartigen Aufenthalt. Wir kommen sehr, sehr gern wieder.

Nichts

Das Homestay ist etwas außerhalb von Orccha gelegen. Ein sehr schönes Farmhaus, heißt nahezu alles was auf den Tisch kommt wird selbst angebaut. Das Gastgeber-Ehepaar Mudit und Sakshi ist so nett, dass man sich gleich als Familienmitglied fühlt. Wir wurden ganz liebevoll bekocht. Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, der unsere Erwartungen bei Weitem übertroffen hat. Das Farmstay kann nur wärmstens weiterempfohlen werden.

Rien, tout est parfait

Everything, this is a beautiful farm stay and immaculatly clean and very well designed. We have been to India 8 times and this was the best accomadation we have ever stayed in. From the grounds, home cooked food from their own home grown produce on their land to the beautifully designed interior. This really is a sacred space. Sakshi and her team were friendly, helpful and respectful. Thank you

Everything! Bundeli Kothi is one of those rare places where you instantly feel at home. The room was incredibly comfortable, the surroundings idyllic, and the food simply amazing. I loved the home-cooked dinner and breakfasts — fresh, local ingredients, delicious, and full of love. One of the highlights was learning to cook local dishes with the hosts — such a beautiful and authentic experience. The atmosphere is warm, peaceful, and genuine. I arrived as a guest and left feeling like part of the family.

Honestly, nothing. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

La migliore struttura in cui abbiamo soggiornato in India. Un agriturismo immerso nel verde, super accogliente, pulito, silenzioso. Camera grande, curata nei minimi dettagli. I padroni di casa sono fantastici. Cena, colazione e sandwich per pranzo super, con tutti i prodotti della fattoria. Avremmo voluto rimanerci altre 6 notti.

La calma e la pace che si respira in questo posto è impagabile. Cena e colazione super, preparato tutto sul momento. I ragazzi della struttura sono stati squisiti e ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Davvero consigliato
