Bundeli Kothi - a unique farmstay

Lors de notre séjour en Inde, ma femme et moi avons eu le bonheur de découvrir l’un des plus beaux hébergements qui nous ait été donné de visiter. L’endroit respire la sérénité. Les chambres, spacieuses et impeccablement entretenues, offrent de superbes vues sur les environs. La cuisine, raffinée et savoureuse, est préparée sur place à partir d’ingrédients frais issus directement de la ferme. Le petit-déjeuner, généreux et de qualité, est un véritable plaisir pour commencer la journée. Les hôtes, d’une chaleur et d’une disponibilité exemplaires, font de votre passage un moment inoubliable. Si vous faites halte à Orchha, posez vos valises ici sans la moindre hésitation

7 star experience - our family had an amazing experience at Bundel Kothi. The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful space that Sakshi and Mudit have created — each nook and corner is a piece of art with extreme attention to detail. The whole place is spick and span — much better than most hotels. Starting from the beautiful garden space (it’s massive) to the spacious lobby, dining area and rooms, everything was so well maintained and beautifully decorated. Most important — The home-cooked organic food is worth a special mention as each member relished it. It’s prepared and served with love. They have additional snacks/coolers on offer too. We were made to feel right at home and staying at Bundel Kothi was one of the best decisions. Have stayed in hotels in Orcha before but this is definitely the best property. Many thanks again to Mudit, Sakshi and the staff . We recommend them to all and hope to be back again. :)

Had a fantastic stay at Bundeli Kothi, a peaceful and relaxing haven only a short drive from Orchha. We felt right at home - Sakshi and Mudit were friendly and welcoming, accommodating for our every need including doing laundry for us. They shared local advice and provided exceptional service throughout. The home cooked dinner and breakfast were delicious, rooms spacious and the bed very comfortable. Only stayed one night but wished it was longer!

This property is located ideally for spending some good time with the family and friends. The entire complex ,including its surroundings, is beautifully designed and exceptionally managed by young professionals. The interiors are artistically designed and neatly maintained. The hosts take personal care to make the stay comfortable. On top of it one enjoys delicious homemade meals.

Bundeli Kothi is a very good property on the outskirts of Orchha. Sakshi and Mudit are available for the service of guests any time. The property itself is beautiful and well designed with care taken for the different amenities. It is an absolutely amazing place and I highly recommend it to others.

I hardly ever write a review, but our 3-day stay at Bundeli Kothi warrants a positive exception. Me and my wife truly loved it. Whilst the building is very modern and may therefore appear somewhat 'non-Indian', it is situated in a very attractive agricultural area, with a small hamlet just around the corner (see the pictures of the doors, as an example), and very kind people, all of which will enrich your India experience. We enjoyed dinner at the Bundeli Kothi and each time it was delicious. The modern kitchen is spotlessly clean and if you like, you can watch how Indian dishes are prepared (or even participate). Orchha is a mere 15 minute drive away
