The Huts at Lakes Edge

It’s really a nice cabin with great view.

It has the detailed map, but I still get lost.

It was clean and comfortable .

No hooks or anything to hang up your clothes especially in the bathroom . Kitchen area was too small . No view of the lake was disappointing false advertising. We thought we were getting the hot tub that’s why we booked the huts only to find out once we got there those huts only sleep two max the deck could have done with an outside heater. The walk up to your cabin with luggage was a nightmare

Location was so perfect, had lovely views of the lake and surrounding areas. The bathtub outside was relaxing to lay in during the morning aswell as for looking at the stars at night. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Would definitely come back.

Only thing that we didn’t like but isn’t a big issue was the noise from the hotspring resort with the kids screaming. This isn’t a deal breaker though as it didn’t affect us too much.

Everything

Perched up above the holiday park with views to the lake, these huts are so cozy and comfortable . They are simply but nicely decked out. We loved the crisp sheets, the blankets and the boutique NZ toiletries.

The deck was a bit slippery when wet. There should be a warning about this

The view from where we stayed looked like a painting come to life. We loved how the accommodation gave us a variety of scenic views from sunrise to sunset. An outdoor bath with a view like that pure magic.

One downside was the distance from the parking area to the accommodation, which was tricky with luggage
