The Huts at Lakes Edge

Great location right on the lake. The The outdoor tub was fantastic. The hut itself was super cozy and well outfitted with everything you needed to have a comfortable couple of days. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. The views of the stars in the night sky were absolutely stunning.

The view from the Huts was stunning. We also loved the outdoor tub which we used during the day when the sun was out and also at night when the stars were out. It is the perfect little get-away.

The pantry was very well equipped in the room. The view from the room was great . 2 mins walk to the lake Tekapo

Room service was not good. We stayed 3 nights they never changed the bed sheets and did not clean the pantry . Basically no room service other than bringing the towels . Toilet was getting wet while taking a shower . The bed is a bit too small for 2 adults. No air conditioning the room . Feb a little hot . For the price they should have a aircon .

Got hot and stuffy, blinds did not fully close. Expensive at peak times.

We had a very pleasant stay. The location of the huts is very special. The view across lake Tekapo is fantastic and the huts themselves are a good size and give a feeling of good quality. The kitchen area is small, but very well equipped. The outdoor decking and bathtub makes the huts a very pleasant place to enjoy the surrounding scenery.

The huts themselves get very warm during the day and are very difficult to cool down for comfortable sleeping. The huts would benefit from bug nets on the windows or air conditioning.

Lovely place overlooking the lake. Was well catered for with everything you would need . Star gazing at night was amazing right outside our hut !

No AC for $600p/n ? Just a fan. Had to leave a window slightly open at night. You would find these long black bug things like 5mm long in the room , found 1 twice on different days in my bed ! Probably harmless but still ! Parking is easy but the walk up to your hut is ridiculous, it's on an incline so walking up with heavy luggage was a definite struggle.You seriously need to get rid of the rocks as you can't wheel luggage up on rocks ! This needs to be a flat surface .

Beautiful and convenient location. Newly built, clean, comfortable and modern. We left behind an item and they kindly mailed it to us. Wi-Fi was good.

Needed air conditioning only had fans. There were not enough screens on the windows and bugs started coming in, yuck! They also upcharged us for our kids at check in. Parking was a little out of the way to bring heavy bags up a hill.
