The Huts at Lakes Edge

The views, the coziness, the way the units were laid out. We liked the small kitchen but it was fully stocked so you had access to most everything.

I wish there had been at least one, small non-stick skillet for eggs or pancakes.

Excellent Location, well kept public facilities, close to town

Room’s pipes froze over during our stay, for the remainder of our stay we had to utilise public facilities shared with the rest of the campground instead of our room facilities.

The view was amazing

Hut was really thoughtfully put together, everything felt quality with no corners cut. Outdoor bath and deck were excellent, kitchen was modern and well equipped, cubby holes for storage were inspired and the view through the massive window was worth every cent.

Wonderful rooms! Great views, very comfy bed. Bathroom and shower was fantastic. A bit pricy, but worth it!

We loved everything about this property. The outdoor hit tub was a wonderful experience given the location overlooking at the beautiful lake Tekapo. Though the hut is a bit small, it was really cozy and comfortable. The amenities they provide are top notch.

Just be mindful that if you have lots of luggage you have to carry them up on a rocky hill. Next time we’ll come better prepared.
