Bohemian Retreat by the Sea with wood burner, roll-top bath & leafy garden

Beautifully decorated and comfortable, and having the wood burner was a treat.

It was just what we were expecting . It’s not far to walk into the centre of Margate, and we had a lovely walk in the other direction along the beach which is very close by and easily accessible.

The decor was wonderful, it was lovely sitting in the lounge with the fire going. The location was great.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming house in Margate, perfectly located in a trendy area. The vicinity boasts an amazing café with exceptional coffee, as well as several great restaurants offering delightful breakfast options. Nearby, there’s also a vibrant club and it’s just a short walk to the tidal pool. The house itself is full of character, clearly loved and meticulously maintained by its owners. It combines an old-school vibe with modern comforts, like the fireplace we used on a chilly night, making it the perfect escape. Everything about this place is top-notch, and I highly recommend it for a truly enjoyable stay.

Spent a cracking few days here. Fantastic decor and eye for detail throughout. Nice little touches all over the place. Really lovely hand soaps and shower gels.

All good, no complaints.

The house has been beautifully and lovingly restored to pristine condition with elaborate bathroom and comfortable living room, with a lovely garden, tidy with modern plantings, a gravel area and cafe table and chairs. We really appreciated that dogs were allowed to stay and the neighbour downstairs is very friendly and would come out to chat in the garden.

The street outside is a bit scruffy, rubbish strewn round and the entranceway does not reflect the standards of the interior.
