Bohemian Retreat by the Sea with wood burner, roll-top bath & leafy garden

Had the most enjoyable stay at this property and would definitely come here again for a chilled weekend for some coastal air. In the summer you could easily stay, but given how comfortable the property is it’s a great catch for an Autumn/Winter cosy weekend. You could tell a lot of effort had been put into the interior and the host was very accommodating to our needs. Fully recommended.

I had the pleasure of staying in this amazing 2-bedroom Victorian style house over three floors, and I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the charming furnishing and fittings that exuded a sense of luxury. The house is equipped with modern conveniences that truly enhance your stay. The Smart TV provided entertainment options, the water pressure in the bathroom was excellent, and hot water was readily available. The cleanliness of the linen and the comfort of the beds ensured a restful night's sleep. However, the true showstopper of this house has to be the bath. It's a luxurious oasis that offers a perfect retreat after a long day. The high-quality shower gel and hand wash provided added to the overall pampering experience. The well-equipped kitchen was another highlight. Whether you want to whip up a homemade meal or simply reheat some takeaway, you'll find everything you need here. It's a great space for culinary enthusiasts. I also want to commend Nancy, the host, for her excellent online communication. She was attentive, responsive, and made sure that everything ran smoothly during my stay. Her hospitality added a personal touch to the experience. Additionally, the location of this house is perfect. It's close to numerous restaurants and shops, making it convenient to explore the local dining and shopping scene. The fact that you can walk to the harbor in just 10 to 15 minutes is a definite bonus, allowing you to enjoy the waterfront and all it has to offer. In conclusion, I had an exceptional stay and would undoubtedly choose this property again for future visits. Absolutely loved our stay at the townhouse . Absolutely gorgeous unique property , a 10-15 minute walk from all the action in Margate . So beautifully decorated - a real gem ! We felt right at home and had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay

Not much we didn’t like . Except maybe a bit of a shortage of hot water - but not sure that could be helped with an older townhouse

Just like going back in time! Certainly had a regal feel!

Garden could have been a little tidier but the fact we met some beautiful cats out there made up for that.
