It was clean, comfortable and friendly

I chose the street view as I was just going to be sleeping and not bothered about views. However, the tiny street had Lorries and HGVs passing within feet of the window late at night and early. A LOT of traffic. So it was very noisy. Everything else made up for it.

Great location in the centre of town with spacious room and original features of the old buildings retained. Breakfast (not included in room price) in Ty Morgan’s cafe was excellent. Recommend the Eggs Benedict.

We didn’t receive the codes for the door or key safe so had to phone. The lady was very helpful though. The electric shower was really noisy and very hot so it had to be turned right down - possibly needs replacing. The mixer tap on sink is plumbed the wrong way around so the water got colder rather than warmer. Extractor fan not working (just to let you know). No teaspoon.

Loved the central location, rooms were cosy, reasonably priced.

The clock tower that isn’t very far! It rang on the hour every hour through the night which sadly kept me awake / woke me.

We had five rooms booked as a group of friends. Each room was lovely. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and there was a lot of choice. The rooms were super clean and the beds very comfy. Very generous tea tray.

Clean and spacious. Great location right in the centre. Room was bigger than expected with a separate bunk bed room for our son which was perfect.

The key-box check-in process needs improvement as somehow someone else had got our key and was in our room. Fortunately we asked him and he realised the mistake, but if we'd not been there exactly at that moment we'd have been stuck as no one answered the phone when we tried to call through initially to ask where the missing key was!
