2 bed luxury apartment

The flat was in a decent location close to centre of Wolverhampton. It was quiet.

Several items were broken or needed repair. The instructions for accessing the flat were misleading and the host didn't answer the phone. We had to contact booking.com to resolve our problem. If these factors were not present, it would have been a better booking.

Cleanliness No instructions with regards to how to get in or where to leave the key.

Well ! We never even got into the apartment,apparently the last guest hadn’t returned the key. We sat in a McDonalds waiting for a call only to be told we’d be better off getting other accommodation for the night. This was an hour after our original check in time,so we rushed around to find somewhere else. Really bad communication..!

The area isn’t the best and it’s hard to find and the traffic around the place was mayhem.

Where to start! The property is not actually at the address that is stated. It’s over a mile away, across a very busy road. When I called the host, he gave me the ‘correct address’ and said it was” a few yards away “ from the postcode I had booked. It wasn’t! When we finally found the property, it was in an awful area, and when we eventually got through to the owner (who was out of the country, and could only be reached via WhatsApp!), he gave us the code to enter. The apartment wasn’t cleaned, as apparently the last guest checked out late. The cleaner arrived as we were inside, which was very uncomfortable, although she was lovely! The kitchen tap was broken, which meant we had to use the one in the bathroom. Not ideal. Due to the property not being where it said it was, we needed to use taxis to get to where we needed to go, instead of walking, so incurred extra costs. I’m not sure how Booking.com are allowing the false advertising! It’s outrageous in my opinion!

Property was beautiful inside, clean and well equipped. It was close to the town centre, with ample parking

Slightly tricky to find, as on a one way system and access to parking was not straightforward, on first attempt
